Dublin producer DJ Mudak 2000 is back on the infamous Braindance for their third release.

Opening things off we have Dubaton, a melancholic yet driving track made up of swirling dubbed-out drums and lush pads which are glued together by a deep hitting sub. This one reaches a beautiful motivating point and is definitely one to seek out on a late night walk home.

Inertia is a very bright track with Beltran-esque plucks that float over airy chords. These elements accompanied by some expertly filtered subs and a heavy kick pattern drag you back from the sky and remind you that this track can fill the floor just as well as it can accompany you in a daydream.

Metallic follows in a similar ilk, this time the name of the song references the commanding percussive element of the song which loops while all the elements around it drift in and out in almost a wave-like manner.

Now and Then is an amazing yet not too jarring change of pace. Electro arps, footwork jungle breaks and delayed chords make for an incredible amalgamation which erupts into a “tops off” drop of breakbeat euphoria.

Slow Dance is a peak time, half time, monster. This one is made for that transformative moment on a dancefloor when it evolves from coordinated dancing into an all out mosh pit. This track definitely highlights Mudak's prowess as a producer, being able to cover all realms of modern 160 and up in an effortless fashion.

The final track Wack is far from its namesake. Another dancefloor destroyer, Wack is a weighty, punchy track which will leave you battered and bruised. This track also features an incredible switch up from half time into a more footwork rhythm which will twist crowds minds like a wet rag.
